It’s that time of year, y’all! Please join us for our formerly-annual-and-hopefully-now-annual-again derby day party!

We’ll have mini hot brown sandwiches, juleps, lilies, and let’s be honest, probably plenty of booze in general. I plan on making a non-alcoholic punch as well for everybody who doesn’t imbibe. If you’d like to bring anything, snacks and desserts are welcome but not required.

• Derby bouge attire recommended, hats strongly recommended

• Our house isn’t particularly kid-friendly, especially with a larger group, so for general safety this is an adult-only gathering

• If you’d like to bring anybody else, that looks like it’ll be fine, but please ask first

• Street parking is available in the area, but we’d strongly encourage getting a lyft

And for the love of all that is holy — and the sake of my health and other guests who have bullshit immune systems or are growing babies — please do not come if you are not feeling well. This may sound harsh, but no, it may not “just be allergies”. We’ll have more parties, promise.

Races will be going most of the day, but the Derby post time is expected to be around 6pm. Come whenever works best and stay however long you’d like.
